Toni Montgomery is the Community Relations Manager for AmeriChoice Federal Credit Union located in Mechanicsburg PA. Toni is a graduate of Central Pennsylvania College with an Associates degree in Communications and a Bachelors degree in Corporate Communications.

As the Community Relations Manager for AmeriChoice, Toni is responsible for community outreach, charitable events including the AmeriChoice Charity Golf Tournament, and participating in multiple Chamber of Commerce committees. She also serves as a spokes person for the credit union. Toni chooses to use her time and talents toward the credit union industry because of her belief in the credit union philosophy of “People Helping People.”

One of her personal goals is to help today’s youth understand that the financial choices they make today, will affect their financial outcome in the future. To achieve this goal, Toni helped develop and implement student-run branches in East Pennsboro High School and Central Pennsylvania College where students learn hands on how to manage their finances. She also teaches financial literacy classes at East Pennsboro High School. She works with every 9th grade student to focus on developing life skills such as understanding the importance of setting savings goals, budgeting money, and learning about credit.

In May of 2007, Toni was named the Pennsylvania State Youth Ambassador through the PA Credit Union Association. As the State Youth Ambassador, Toni worked toward increasing awareness of credit union as a lower-cost, lower-fee alternative for financial services for both youth adults and consumers of any age. In 2008, she was named to the Filene Institute’s 30 under 30 research group, where she spend the year creating products and services that would attract youth to credit unions.

In addition to teaching financial literacy in the classroom, Toni has had the opportunity to be a presenter at the Governor’s Institute for Financial Education held at Lehigh University and Elizabethtown College. She spoke to over 200 Pennsylvania teachers about how they could partner with their credit unions in the classroom. Toni also holds the position as Board Member for the Mechanicsburg Chamber of Commerce.

Kimberly Bindl is the Financial Literacy Manager for AmeriChoice Federal Credit Union located in Mechanicsburg, PA. Kim graduated Summa Cum Laude in Cursu Honorum from Central Pennsylvania College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.

As the Financial Literacy Manager, Kim is responsible for overseeing multiple student-run branches, developing and implementing youth marketing programs, and teaching financial literacy initiatives in South Central, PA.

AmeriChoice Federal Credit Union currently has three student-run branches including two high schools and one college. These branches not only give the students ‘real world’ experience, but they also teach them how to manage their personal finances. Aside from overseeing these educational branches, Kim is actively educating students in four area school districts, as well as Central Pennsylvania College. Districts include the Cumberland Valley School District, the Mechanicsburg Area School District, the West Shore School District, and the East Pennsboro School District. Through the partnership between AmeriChoice Federal Credit Union and the school districts, Kim teaches lessons to students as well as provides resources and curriculum to instructors. Lessons include a wide range of topics including how to budget, the importance and proper use of credit, investing, and saving.

Kim serves on the Board of Directors for the Capital Region Partnership in Career Development, an initiative of the Capitol Area Intermediate Unit. She is a member of the Central Pennsylvania College Alumni Association, serves as an Alumni Mentor, as well as is a member of the Marketing Advisory Council. Kim also participates as a committee member for the West Shore Chamber’s Education Committee and the Cumberland County Economic Development’s Workforce Development Steering Committee.

MaryAnne Nguyen is the Community Relations Manager for AmeriChoice Federal Credit Union located in Mechanicsburg, PA. She is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing and Management.

As Community Relations Manager for AmeriChoice, MaryAnne is responsible for community outreach, charitable events including the AmeriChoice Golf Tournament, and business development. Her goal is to work with the AmeriChoice family to take a hands-on approach to making the community a better place to live. Supporting different causes such as Uplifting Athletes, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and American Cancer Society are just a few ways employees and members are encouraged to step out of their comfort zones to offer the “People Helping People” spirit.

MaryAnne serves on the Pennsylvania Immigrant and Refugee Women’s Network Board as Treasurer, the Circle of Love and Hope Board as President and participates in the Greater Harrisburg Area Regional Council for Junior Achievement, Harrisburg Young Professionals and multiple Chamber of Commerce committees.
