IBM Pen-Cen Employees Federal Credit Union was chartered to serve IBM employees of the Central PA area.

May 10, 1973

IBM Pen-Cen EFCU expanded its field of membership by merging with IBM Philadelphia and changed its name to IBM Pennsylvania EFCU

C. Kipp Stecher appointed as Credit Union Manager

Two new Credit union offices opened-Erford Rd in Camp Hill and Newberry Building in Harrisburg

The IBM PA Employees FCU introduces its first logo.

Kipp Stecher returns as Credit Union President/Manager

Opened New office at 6108 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg

Summer 1991

The Credit Union offers the following 5 new services to members: Open-End Home Equity Loans, First Mortgage Loans, Auto Leasing, Electronic Tax Filing, and Nominee Stock Depository Program.

NCUA approved our application to become a community chartered credit union to serve Cumberland County

NCUA approved our charter amendment for an expanded community charter to include Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lebanon, Perry and York counties.

April 3, 2018

Field of membership returned to Cumberland, Dauphin and Perry counties due to a ruling by the D.C. District Court to uphold the ABA’s objections to the new rules issued by NCUA for field of membership.

August 2019
