Virtual Family Fun
2020 has definitely made us change plans for many things. Many important events have been canceled or postponed and we understand the disappointment that can bring and wanted to bring a little fun to your summer. We know many families have joined us for our annual Family Fun Extravaganzas over the past years and we didn’t want to miss out on the fun this year, so, while we can’t have our traditional event, we decided to do what everyone else is doing and take it online- but, with a twist!
We’re excited to share that our 2020 Family Fun Extravaganza will be held virtually, from the comfort and safety of your own backyard! We’ve packed up everything you enjoyed about our traditional event into a FREE take home Family Fun in a bucket.
Each bucket will contain games and activities for families, along with information from local businesses that would typically attend our in-person event. Don’t worry; we’ll include directions and guidelines for the games and activities so you’ll know what to do.
Families who participate will be asked to record their competitions and share them with us via Facebook. We will have prizes in a variety of categories from fastest times to team spirit; we’ve got a bunch of awards to pass out.
If you’re interested in participating, visit the Virtual Family Fun Extravaganza page and fill out the form, one of our employees will contact you if any additional information is needed and to set up a date and time to pick up your bucket (to maintain social distancing, buckets will need to be picked up at our branches at specific times).
We will have 100 buckets available and must be picked up at one of our five local branches by July 15. If your bucket is not picked up by July 15, it will be given to a family on the wait list. If your plans change and you’re not able to pick it up, please let us know ASAP so it can be given to a wait list family.
We know that our Virtual Family Fun Extravaganza won’t replace our traditional event, but we’re hoping that we can spread a little happiness and some normalcy for families in the area this summer!
