  AmeriChoice Federal Credit Union recently discovered skimming devices had been placed on a limited number of the credit union’s ATMs.   We are approaching this matter with the utmost seriousness, and upon learning of the incident, we launched an investigation and notified law enforcement.  While this review is still ongoing, we believe that this incident affected only those individuals who conducted debit card/ATM transactions at the following ATMs on the following dates:  
  • 20 Sporting Green Drive, Mechanicsburg – August 23-28 and September 8-13, 2018
  • 715 Wertzville Road, Enola – August 17-19, 2018
  • 433 S. 18th St, Camp Hill – August 17-19, 2018
Please note that any AmeriChoice Federal Credit Union member who experiences losses due to fraudulent transactions as a result of this incident will not be liable for any fraudulent charges.   We regret any inconvenience or concern this may cause our members.  We are notifying and are in the process of reissuing cards to any member who may have been affected by this incident.  It is important to note that at no time were AmeriChoice Federal Credit Union’s core banking systems compromised or impacted as a result of this incident.   We want to assure you that safeguarding the personal information that our members have entrusted to us is of the utmost importance, and we are taking measures to help prevent this type of incident from occurring in the future.  As a best practice, we recommend that members remain vigilant to protect against fraud and/or identity theft by, among other things, reviewing your payment card account statements and credit reports closely.  If you detect any suspicious activity on your AmeriChoice account, you should notify us promptly at 1-800-240-4364, Option 4.  You should also promptly report any fraudulent activity or any suspected incidents of identity theft to proper law enforcement agencies.   Individuals who believe that they may have been impacted by this incident and have questions may call 1-800-240-4364, Option 4 during normal business hours.   If available, we will provide any additional updates on this website.
The Supervisory Committee is looking for a volunteer to join them in the overseeing of Credit Union Operations.  Any interested party MUST be a member of AmeriChoice FCU and should have  a background in Finance and/or Auditing.  Basic Committee responsibilities include performing quarterly audits, attending occasional Board and Supervisory Committee meetings and helping insure AmeriChoice is adhering to National Credit Union Administration regulations.  If interested in joining our Committee, please send a brief resume listing qualifications to Ray Staub at buats07@gmail.com as soon as possible If you are interested but would would like more information regarding Supervisory Committee responsibilities send a note to Ray and he will be in touch with you.
AmeriChoice Federal Credit Union held the 10th Annual Family Fun Extravaganza on Saturday, July 14th with record attendance. Over 500 people attended the event that took place at the Bumble Bee Hollow Road location from 10:30am-1:30pm.
Brittney Monteith, Marketing Director at AmeriChoice Federal Credit Union was named as one of Central Penn Business Journal’s 2018 Women of Influence award recipients.
The Easter Bunny made a special stop at AmeriChoice Federal Credit Union on Saturday, March 17th. The event, which is the first of two Easter Bunny Events by AmeriChoice, was held at the Mechanicsburg headquarters and had 215 attendees. Families were invited to get a free photo with the Easter Bunny in addition to crafts, games, snacks and other activities.

Join us on Saturday, August 18 from 10:00 am to noon at our Highland Park branch for a free community shred event! This event is open to both members and non-members. We will have coffee and treats to enjoy as you watch our shred truck securely destroy your sensitive documents.   We ask that all visitors limit shred items to 2 banker size boxes.
